An Army Veteran was killed at home shortly after returning from war in Afghanistan. The 22-year-old reportedly was involved in an altercation outside his homecoming party Sunday morning, which ended in his death.
Francisco Garcia got home from Afghanistan roughly four months ago. His girlfriend decided to throw a party for his Saturday night to celebrate his homecoming. After the party winded down Saturday evening, Garcia and some friends decided to leave and walk to another neighborhood. When they started the walk two cars approached. One man got out of a car, smashed a beer bottle and approached Garcia. The same man got a gun out of the other car and shot Garcia. He died at the scene of the shooting.
