NASA Rocket Explodes in Virginia

Tuesday evening, a rocket exploded during liftoff in Wallops Island, Virginia. Luckily, there were no astronauts on the rocket, but NASA was sending supplies to the astronauts at the space station.  For more quotes and details on this story visit this page.

The astronauts reported that they had previously run very low on supplies and were within weeks of running out. However, this time the astronauts had more of a stock pile of food, water, and oxygen, but Brian tells me time is still an important factor. NASA will have to begin the entire mission again by locating and packaging supplies and sending them out on another rocket ship. They will be on a time clock, so that they don’t leave those at the space station in peril in the upcoming weeks.

There were no concerns regarding the safety of the rocket prior to takeoff, and officials made a statement that it was far too early to know the details of what happened. It is so good for essay on time review and I know they are going to succeed.
